Midwest Ironman Tourney
Three dates- Three Cities
After the 2006 tournament season ends, the rest of the world will rest save for the Ironmen of the Midwest. Three tournaments will be held this fall to determine who is the best of the best in the Midwest.

Beginning in Dayton, OH, the path of the Ironman will him in Chicago, IL within one month and then conclude in St Louis, MO two months after it all begins.

All three tournaments will be open to any and all interested in playing with local prize support being available for all three tournaments. However, for those brave enough to test themselves in all three arenas, a special prize awaits in St Louis and will be given to the Ironman who is crowned overall winner of all three tournaments.

Each tournament will use the Elite Level of the proposed 2007 GDR tournament rules with the following standards and evolutions:

    - 400 AP Armies
    - 60cm x 120cm tables
    - Themes allowed
    - No Allies
    - Incantation, Divination, and War Machine evolutions
Scenarios have yet to be decided but will be unique to each location and will most likely be pulled from the new scenarios being put together by each of the various CORDs.

For those players who wish to participate in the Ironman portion of these three tournaments they must simply do the following things:

    - Participate in each of the three tournaments
    - Assemble a core 200 AP force to use in all three tournaments. This core can be void of any theme costs, miracles, spells, and/or artifacts but it doesn't have to be. Also, it must contain at least one Character that you will use at all three locations. This core force must be submitted to one of the three tournament organizers prior to the first tournament.
    - Prior to each tournament, submit your 400 AP army consisting of your core force to that tournament's organizer for approval.
Prize support is still being worked on. However, prizes will be awarded to the top finishers at each of the three tournaments. Also, scores for the Ironmen will accumulate through all three tournaments and the top scorer will be crowned the 2006 Ironman and will receive additional prizes.
