Living Legend Battle
click a link Home Events Projects Campaigns Flea Market Links	On July 29th we hosted a 10 player battle where players took a force with a Living Legend and fought for surpremacy of the table top against others. This was done as two teams to keep the play sequence a bit simpler than it might be otherwise. The field itself was laid out with the Living Legend Circle in the midst of the table and there were other objective areas set on the edges west and east edges of the table and flanking the Cirlce. Only Living Legend could enter (or shoot into/through the Circle ) any other troops could hold the Objects as well as the Living Legends. There were also teleporters which allowed figures to enter them and move to another anywhere on the map, but not shoot, engage, charge or cast during an activation which included a move through the teleporter.   If a side held an Objective (uncontested) they scored a point.  Holding the Living Legend Circle scored points as well. These points were pooled and allowed the side to cure wounds, ressurect figures or other effects. Everyone converges on the Living Legend Circle The Dwarves advance (if only slowly) a long view of the battle as Dirz & Wolfen pour out of the Teleporter Drac and the Grand Crane battle for ownership of the Circle while on the other side of the table Dirz, and Acheron battle Devourers and Kelts around the ruins a long view of the table wide carnage The Kelts battle back Acheron forces Griffin fight off Drune & Devourers Dwarves and Griffin move up to oppose the Orgques and Devourers in the Stones Griffin Attack ! Grand Crane reigns Supreme Wolfen, Devourers and Acheron converge Dwarves and Orques battle it out around the West teleporter a long view of the sides battling it out. Griffin & Kelts try to liberate the Grove the fine Tuna Salad from Sub Express Whoops... Ken (Bilesuck) who organized and ran the tourney Don't be fooled... this one is blank. The Darkness forces swept in, took the grove and the cairn circle and moved in on the Circle. The Kelts and the Exectutioner tried to hold them back, but luck was not on their side. Drac Mac was killed by the Grand Crane and a couple of fights later it was obvious that they wouldn't be dislodged. A fight broke out around the West teleporter and objectives where the forces of Light made a minor comeback, but even though they had, the battle swung to Darkness who won. My apologies for the lack of better coverage this time. I had to go off to pick up some folks at the airport and we didn't have the chance to nominate another  photo-journalist.   :(
